SkimStone PRO: Traditional SkimStone Application Workshop

Level of Instruction: All Skill Levels
You will be introduced to the product line and proper surface preparation techniques. Learn to embellish SkimStone™ with "Modello Designs" decorative masking patterns. In addition, you will be introduced to combinations of aggregates, mica powders, metallic patinas, wood stains and stonewashed pigments to enhance the finish. A discussion of sealers for waterproofing and stain prevention and combination topcoats to create impervious surfaces for shower installations will be addressed. Get hands on practice as you complete 24x24 sample boards and a "concrete carpet". You will be encouraged to design your own color combinations with color theory guidance from the instructor. Wear paint clothes. Fee includes a complete course syllabus and catered lunches.
Although this class is designed for the professional applicator, creative homeowners wishing to participate are welcome.
