SkimStone Basics: An Introduction to Creative Concrete Finishing

PREREQUISITE:  SkimStone™Basics or SkimStone™ PRO...Traditional Finishes

Level of Instruction: Intermediate-Advanced. Although this class is designed for the professional applicator, creative homeowners are welcome.

You will be encouraged to design your own color combinations with color theory guidance from the instructor. In addition, you will be introduced to combinations of aggregates, mica powders, metallic patinas, wood stains and stonewashed pigments to enhance the finish. A discussion of sealers for waterproofing and stain prevention and combination topcoats to create impervious surfaces for shower installations will be addressed. Wear paint clothes. Fee includes a complete course syllabus and a catered lunch.
