Acrylic Venetian Plasters
Traditional lime-based Venetian Plaster is a layered, encaustic wall coating that can be burnished to a glass-like smoothness. This age old technique can be done in the classic application method as well as various decorative forms. Modern synthetic products allow us to achieve the look of Venetian Plaster without the burnishing process of lime-based plasters.

We will use synthetic Venetian Plasters, embellished with patterns, sealed with glazes, dry powdered pigments, waxes and penetrating sealers. You will have the flexibility to choose your own color selections, with the guidance of your instructor, as we explore color theory principles during the seminar. Wear paint clothes. The class fee includes all supplies for use in class, a complete course syllabus and catered lunches.

You may register for all four days or for this individual class as space allows. Discounts apply for multiple class registrations.
A deposit of $175.00 will be charged to your credit card upon registration. Balance due 1 week prior to the workshop, at which time the course pre-study materials will be sent to you via email. ArtWorks Spokane reserves the right to cancel the workshop with fewer than four students.
