MileStone PRO
This class covers the essentials for the aspiring Milestone installer. Learn, hands-on, how to apply two different texture finishes on interior walls over primed or painted drywall and on interior floors over existing concrete. A theoretical introduction into countertop and shower installations is also part of the workshop. Choose from Milestone's color palette of neutral colors as you create at least 4 (four) 2' x 2' samples, the beginning of your own sample library. Throughout the workshop there will be an emphasis on starting and having your own installation business.

Tuesday starts with a demonstration and practice of Milestone specific trowel movements. Following that, we will cover substrate preparation, mixing and coloring of Milestone followed by the application of base coats to at least 4 horizontal samples and a 4' x 7' vertical wall segment, including the treatment of corner details. The final part of Tuesday will be the application of the top coat on your 2' x 2' samples. Each segment includes a demonstration, hands-on practice and Q&A.
Wednesday starts with the application of the top coat on the wall sections. Following that, we will focus on the application of sealers. We will cover sealers for interior walls, floors, countertops and showers. Again, each segment includes a demonstration, hands-on practice and Q&A.

All tools and materials will be provided but you are free to bring your favorite tools. Dress to get dirty. Lunches and snacks will be provided.
