Learn to Glaze
Geared for the beginning student who aspires to be a professional artisan, you will learn to create richness and depth in wall, plaster and furniture finishes with subtle glazing techniques. Product education lecture includes proper surface preparation and the properties of paints and glazes. Hands-on techniques will include quick drying and long-open time glazes, complex manipulation and color balance techniques.

Class fee includes a catered lunch and a complete course syllabus. Wear paint clothes.
Skill level: All Skill Levels....Creative "Do-It-Yourselfers" are welcome.
Prerequisite: NONE.This class should be considered "a must" prior to taking other glazing workshops as there is a lot of emphasis on surface preparation in this class.

A deposit of $125.00 will be charged to your credit card upon registration. Balance due 2 weeks prior to the workshop, at which time the course pre-study materials will be sent to you via email. ArtWorks Spokane reserves the right to cancel the workshop with fewer than four students.
