Our Northwest decorating culture is relaxed and inviting, rich in textures yet sophisticated and contemporary. These complex specialty finishes are multiple layers with products and techniques that truly create "one-of-a-kind" solutions to your decorating needs. Techniques include animal skin, layered textures, oxidized luster, oxidized copper, layered crackle, textured leather, distressed gilding, and metallic rub-of. You will have the freedom to adapt the samples to your color scheme with guidance from the instructor.
Rustic Elegance Furniture Finishes Workshop

Level of Instruction: All levels
Lecture and demos will include proper surface preparation techniques for new and used furniture. Samples will be executed on panels and ornamental molding. Top coats include polyurethane and acrylic waxes. Wear paint clothes. Fee includes a complete course syllabus including product conversion charts and all materials for use in class, snacks and a catered lunch.

A deposit of $175.00 per attendee will be charged to your credit card upon registration. Balance due 2 weeks prior to the workshop, at which time the course pre-study materials will be sent to you via email.
