Our Artisan Supertops workshop focuses on luxurious, artistic finishes that will take your countertops or tabletops to a whole new level for high end residential, commercial and hospitality work. These exquisite, expensive looking treatments only LOOK complicated. This class will open up your options to expand your creativity. Learn to incorporate geodes, metallic powders, gilding, foils, aggregate mixtures and other mixed media with patterns embedded into the finishes.
You will learn numerous mixed media special effects including but not limited to:
• Interactive Coloration with Aurashades™ coloring system
• Incorporating metal leaf and metallic foils into Aurastone finishes
• Custom high end patterned finishes using Modello Designs Decorative Masking patterns
• Working with integrally colored basecoats
• Easy texturing techniques
• Suspended Metal
• Working with a translucent background and natural materials for backlit effects
• Topcoat Systems
The installer will be required to prep their sample boards prior to class so that class time can be used productively to learn coloring techniques. Our classroom is reserved for students to prep their sample boards on the afternoon prior to the workshop. This time can also be spent in sharing previously completed sample boards and networking, so please come prepared to share.
*Registering at least two weeks prior to the date of the class is considered "Early Bird Registration". The discount will be applied to your credit card if you register before the end of the last day, two weeks prior to the date of the class. Any registrations done in the two weeks prior will pay full price.

A deposit of $350.00 per attendee will be charged to your credit card upon registration. Balance due 7 days prior to the workshop, at which time the course pre-study materials will be sent to you via email.
