We've been busy glazing over 1,000 square feet of ceiling in a condo at The Terraces in Coeur d'Alene, ID. Check back for completed photos. The condo will also feature a plastered entry and powder room.

Nancy Jones, Owner and Creative Director of Artworks Spokane: Nancy has been a decorative artist since 1974 and a decorative painting instructor since 1985. She has experience in all aspects of the decorative painting business....shop owner-retailer, custom painting, and teacher. She travels to at least three painting conventions and/or seminars a year to teach and stay abreast of the newest techniques, products, and trends. In addition, she and her team of trained decorative artists do custom faux finishes, designer plaster applications, and decorative concrete finishes in client's homes. Kim Smith, Decorative Artisan and Graphic Designer:
Kim's education and background are in graphic design. Owning danilla bean design, her graphic design firm, has made her more than qualified to be in charge of coordinating and designing Artworks' marketing materials. After several years of designing for Artworks graphics, Nancy invited her to join the team of artists doing custom jobs in 2004. She is proficient in cabinet finishing, glazing, lime and acrylic plasters, and concrete overlays. Certified: SkimStone, Granicrete, AuraStone, and Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. |

Carol Herrmann, Decorative Artisan and Concrete Specialist:
Nancy found Carol through the Inland Northwest Decorative Artists group. Carol had taken a SkimStone class and found herself intrigued with concrete applications and the endless possibilities to beauitfy existing surfaces. Her creative flair and love of art found her joining the Artworks team in 2008. She is proficient in SkimStone, MileStone, Granicrete, and AuraStone concrete overlays. Have trowel, Will travel! Certified in SkimStone, Granicrete, AuraStone, and Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. |

Peggy Best, Decorative Artisan and Muralist:
Peggy joined the Artworks Design team in 2010. She has known and admired Nancy since 1996. She has a background in management and experience with owning her mural business, Artful Illusions, where she installed custom glazing finishes, plasters, and murals in both private homes and businesses. Her creativity and love of art bring another element to the team. She is proficient in murals, glazing, lime and acrylic plasters, and cabinet finishes. Certified in SkimStone, Granicrete, AuraStone, and Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. |

Robin Lindberg, Decorative Artisan and Interior Designer:
Robin also joined the Design Team in the spring of 2010. Her confident eye for design contributes yet another dimension for the Design Team to gleen inspiration from. She has experience in staging and color theory from her days as the business owner of Sterling Rose Interiors & Design. She is also proficient in cabinet finishing, acrylic and lime plasters, and concrete overlays. Certified in SkimStone, Granicrete, AuraStone, and Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. |

David Pemberton, Business Representative and General Contractor:
David has brought a genuine excitement and new perspective to the team. His carpentry and general contractor experience afford us the ability to offer custom furniture and solutions to any design dilema. He is the founder and owner of Storywoods, a company that specializes in reclaimed wood made useful once again. His motto is, "If you can dream it, we can do it!" Ethan Gurney, Decorative Concrete Specialist: Ethan is the newest addition to Artworks Spokane, but far from the least experienced. Early 2011 Ethan merged his business, Accent Resurfacing, Inc., with Nancy and Artworks. He brings expertise in interior and exterior overlays, epoxy coatings, acid staining, and poured concrete countertops. His list of clients is extensive and his business reputation is virtually spotless. His accent is pretty cool too!

Val Oxendahl, Decorative Artisan and Sales Rep: Val was one of the first students to take Nancy's apprenticeship course. Upon completing she began her own business, Artistic Impressions by Val. After several successful years she discovered a desire to be in a team environment again. With the addition of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and Amy Howard at Home, Nancy thought Val would be a perfect fit to represent these lines. Ellen Myhre, Operations Manager and Accountant: Ellen joined our team in March of 2011. She has been a freelance Quickbooks expert and business owner for over 25 years. Her expertise in accounting and organization keep the office running smoothly and projects coordinated and on-time. Ellen has brought order to the artistic "free spirit". She's a wonderful addition to our team!
